Peapod Weavers was established in 1990 by twin sisters (two peas in a pod) Robin Godonis and Gretchen Birdsall.
The twins have studied under several renowned weavers, including a master weaver on the island of Nantucket.
They enjoy not only creating beautiful hand-woven baskets, but also teaching their craft to others. Each Nantucket Basket is meticulously handcrafted, then engraved with the weaver's unique signature and date. All Peapod Weavers baskets are guaranteed to have been woven by Gretchen or Robin. |
